Improving Livelihoods

Smallholder farmers often struggle with low incomes, unstable markets, and food insecurity. 4C supports farmers and their families through field projects and the Food Security Add-On, helping them secure better incomes, strengthen resilience, and achieve long-term sustainability.
Gender Equality
Promote equal opportunities, empower women, and strengthen inclusive communities.
Women are central to coffee and cocoa production but often lack equal access to resources, training, and decision-making power. With the Gender Equality Add-On, 4C helps identify and close gender gaps, promoting fairness and empowering women throughout supply chains.
Children’s Rights and Labour Protection
Identify risks and implement safeguards to protect children’s rights.
Child and forced labour remain pressing risks in agriculture. 4C develops innovative auditing approaches and projects to strengthen human rights due diligence, prevent child labour, and protect vulnerable workers in supply chains.
